What we can do for you
We are experienced in treating an extensive range of musculo-skeletal conditions for example back problems, headaches, joint dislocation including traumatic dislocation and recurrent or habitual shoulder dislocation, joint pain, neck problems, post-operative conditions, pre-and post-natal pelvic and back problems including SPD (symphysis pubis dysfunction), scoliosis and postural problems, soft tissue damage (sprains and strains), sports and dance injuries, whiplash as a result of a RTA (road traffic accident or fall from a horse) and work related disorders including RSI (repetitive strain injury) or WRSD (work related stress disorder).
Assessment and treatment
The initial consultation enables us to carry out a thorough assessment to determine the nature of the problem and to provide the appropriate corrective treatment to relieve the pain and address the underlying cause. We are qualified and experienced in the following treatments:
- Acupuncture to relieve pain
- Advice regarding self help to speed recovery and prevent re-injury
- Electrotherapy (including biofeedback, interferential, laser, pulsed shortwave, TENS and ultrasound)
- Massage and soft tissue techniques
- Mobilisation and manipulation of joints
- Posture correction, strengthening and stretching exercises
- Rehabilitation following injury or surgery
- Specific reeducation of scoliosis and shoulder instability
- Taping and strapping
- Traction
Referrals
You can make an appointment with us direct. Patients are also referred by general practitioners and consultants. A full report will be sent to your referring doctor on completion of your treatment.

Home visits can also be made when necessary. We are recognised by all medical insurance companies. Please check with your insurance company regarding the extent of your cover for physiotherapy treatment. Usually a doctor's referral is required.
